Basic Guidelines
As a staff member, you are expected to follow a set of guidelines to maintain your staff position here at Wisconsin State Roleplay. We expect all staff members to acknowledge and adhere to these guidelines at all times. Failure to follow these guidelines will result in staff discipline.
Grammar
As a staff member here at Wisconsin State Roleplay, we expect you to have good spelling, punctuation, and grammar, and to utilize these skills effectively. You are required to use proper SPaG when moderating in the game and when handling any tickets. Failure to adhere to this guideline will result in staff discipline.
Staff Drama
As a staff member, you must not start any arguments with other staff members in #staff-chat or any other channel in the Discord server. If you think a staff member is violating the staff code of conduct or any guidelines found here please open an "Internal Affairs" ticket and dispute them there. Failure to adhere to this guideline will result in staff discipline such as a termination and/or a staff blacklist.
Command Usage
As a staff member, you gain access to moderation/administration commands in-game. These commands are to be used strictly for moderation purposes, and any abuse will result in your permissions being revoked. You are not allowed to use commands off duty as a staff member (management exempt). All commands must be 4+ letters long. For example, :bring lav would not be allowed, but :bring lavo would. This is to prevent staff members from using 'all' commands, such as :bring all.
Server Rules
As a staff member, you are still subject to the same rules and regulations that community members must follow. Both Discord and game rules apply to you as a staff member. Being a staff member does not grant you the privilege to break any rules listed there. Failure to adhere to these guidelines will result in staff discipline.
Banned Items
At Wisconsin State Roleplay, we have created spreadsheets for banned vehicles, firearms, and items within the game, categorized by individual ranks. Please refer to all spreadsheets to see which vehicles, firearms, and items staff of all ranks are not permitted to use.
Grapplers
Abusing the Grappler to attach to random vehicles or using it while being off-shift or on 50/50 shift will have you infracted!
As a staff member, you are permitted to equip the Grappler onto your vehicle and use it on players who intentionally evade you.
If you try to pull over a vehicle and the driver decides to drive off and evade you, you are permitted to deploy the Grappler when close enough to the evader's vehicle to attach and stop it.
The Grappler must be retracted at all other times when not pursuing an evader to prevent accidental attachment to other players' vehicles.
Callsigns
While you are an on-duty staff member in our in-game server, you are required to use your assigned callsign for identification purposes. To ensure you know your callsign, please check our staff roster, which is listed in the staff dashboard channel regularly.
